Womens Swim Start at Madrid ITU Triathlon World Championship Series

The American women demonstrated how strong their team is with stellar showing at the second stop of the ITU Triathlon World Championship Series in Madrid Spain this Sunday. Olympian Sarah Haskins finished 5th in a sprint finish for the top five spots.  Sarah Groff hung on for a ninth place finish and second place finisher at the 2008 Ironman 70.3 World Championships, Mary Beth Ellis, battled back from a split on the swim to finish 17th overall.
